such turbulent times. The rapid rate of changes and delays do inhibit our operations, as this is an industry-wide issue. To contend with the ongoing changes, NCS will actively update/monitor this page. Please note, that while we are
exceptionally confident in our ability to offer you fast, precise information, our pandemic circumstances may impede the process. Periodic inclement weather and flooding can also cause courts to close. While our exemplary swiftness and

Los Angeles	CA	08/23/2021	Limited Access	*What is the D.O.B. situation?*California superior courts have started removing the date-of-birth search fields from their online portals. Due to the nature of such a dramatic change, this will prove challenging for larger volumed areas. The original DOB filter for Los Angeles has been replaced with a “month and year” filter, (M&YOB). Appriss utilizes the in-court process as it’s always been the most accurate, timely, and price-effective process for our clients. The in-court PAT replaced a full DOB with a M&YOB.What does this mean for future searches?The month and year are still available on the PAT, but the clerk will not verify more than month and year. Defendants who physically appear in court are the only ones allowed to have full DOB accessed. Attorneys are also excluded from the PII and will not be able to access the full DOB. National Crime Search is currently working to assess the impact on our searches both in turnaround time and clerk fees. The Superior court hasn’t yet indicated a fee schedule for the assistance linked with confirmation of Month and Year (M&YOB) on searches. Fulton	GA	1/30/2024	Delayed	2/8/2024 update: The primary index is still offline due to the cyber attack. The clerks are not sure when their system will be restored but we will continue to monitor the situation and provided updates as they become available.
Muscogee	GA	3/26/2024	Delayed	Currently working with court clerks as we experience connectivity issues. Please expect delays while we complete searches via conventional methods.
Multiple	GA	12/12/2023	Delayed	The court’s online index is down for maintenance in the following counties: Baldwin, Bryan, Carroll, Coweta, Dougherty, Henry, Liberty, Newton, Thomas. Since there are limited in-court public access terminals, please expect delays while we complete searches via conventional methods. We gained access to the updated online index, but images are currently unavailable so all searches with possible hits must be conducted in court. As a result, please expect delays.
ALL Counties	ID	4/2/2024	Delayed	Collaborating with court clerks to address connectivity issues hindering our access to PII verification. Please anticipate delays as our team continues to monitor the situation.
ALL Counties	KS	10/12/2023	Delayed ON HOLD	Kansas Cyber Attack and Public Access Status: Please be advised that the online index currently does not contain new case information or updated case information from the original date of the cyber-attack (10/12/23) to present day. Please be advised that while Kansas court administrators have made onsite Public Access Terminals available in select courts, the PATs are also missing all new case information and all updated case information from 10/12/23 to present. Due to this missing case information, we will keep all Kansas county orders on hold at this time. There is no known set schedule for the individual courts to have this missing case information, and note that the entering of this missing case information is being handled differently by the individual courts.

Berrien	MI	04/2/2024	Delayed	Berrien County Trial Court is undergoing a transition period as they switch to a new computer system. During this time, access and the ability to conduct record checks will be suspended for 2-3 weeks.
Holmes	MS	02/27/2024	Delayed	The clerks are behind on completing background checks. We are expecting extended delays.
All Counties	NH	06/13/2023	Delayed	The clerks are behind on background check requests due to vacations, staffing, and holidays. Please expect some delays in all NH counties.
Washoe	NV	02/13/2024	Delayed	A change in the clerk’s process with conducting searches has caused a temporary delay with some searches. The clerks expect the turnaround time for this county to return to normal within a few weeks. In the meantime, please expect delays.
Cuyahoga	OH	3/26/2024	Delayed	Cleveland Municipal Court public access is down. Please expect delays while our team monitors.
Montgomery	OH	3/26/2024	Delayed	Oakwood Municipal Court public access is down. Please expect delays while our team monitors.
Travis	TX	2/06/2024	Delayed	Updates were made to Austin Municipal Court’s primary index causing searches to be put on a temporary hold if the order requests this Municipal Court. Please note, the Austin Municipal Court is not part of a standard search so this only affects orders that request this court. .
King and Statewide	WA	3/5/2024	Delayed	On 3/14/2024, the Seattle Municipal Court finished its migration, and we’ve also finalized adjustments to our automation. As a result, orders are now being processed. In the meantime, please continue to expect delays as we work through processing orders.
Kanawha	WV	4/4/2024	Closed	Due to the Circuit Court updating their public access terminals, the pat will be closed until Monday 04/08
Multiple Counties	MI	04/11/2023	Delayed	Due to Michigan’s clean slate law that went into effect on 4/11/2023, multiple counties are experiencing delays and have reporting limitations. For more information, please click here.
